We produced a full holographic stage show for our client Icon MEI for FIFA’s 2013 World Club Cup Finals in Marrakech on the 11th December 2013.
The highlight of the event was a presentation on the history and social impact of FIFA by a fully holographic version of French footballing legend Christian Karembeau before he turned into golden 3D glitter.
Combining filming, rendering and extensive post-production the company also created various other holograms as part of the show. These included the World Cup trophy with accompanying graphics; chrome frames to complement the floating footage of the greatest World Cup moments from the 1970s onwards, a 3D globe and 3D confetti.
Andy Taplin, Head of 3D & Design, said: “It was a long week! We had lots of subvert rotoscoping to do on some really difficult transitions but the end result was worth it. It looked great on the night.”
